Sue Asquith

Sue is an award-winning international early childhood consultant.  Her experience in the early years sector began in 1998 as a registered childminder, expanding her skills to mentoring, becoming a lead childminder affiliated with local children centres, and an early lead language practitioner with the Every Child a Talker project. She was graded Ofsted Outstanding in the two inspection cycles before resigning to concentrate on her freelance consultancy. Sue has worked on Department for Education funded projects with charities such as PACEY, ICAN, Communication Trust and NDNA. She has been writing and delivering accredited and non-accredited training courses since 2002. Sue is a regular speaker at Childcare and Education Expo and on Early Years TV, and is a freelance associate with PACEY and NDNA.  She has a plethora of CPD courses which can be delivered online or face-to-face to your staff team. She also delivers key note speeches, training and assessing internationally. Her book, Self-Regulation Skills in Young Children, was published in April 2020.
