However, when the Covid-19 pandemic hit, and parents were no longer allowed to come inside their settings, the Kindred team had to quickly find another way to keep parents involved and informed. Luckily, they found Famly.
Now, Kindred use Famly for everything from invoicing to debt collection, occupancy to revenue, registering children, and of course, maintaining amazing parent partnerships.
Kindred are a group of nurseries and an after-school club, all over the South and East of England, and London. Kindred believes in ‘Inspired Learning and Education’ and that includes sharing and working closely with parents.
Ipek Ibrahim, the manager of Kindred Wanstead and Izette van der Westhuizen, the senior manager, explain how they use Famly to keep in touch with parents. They share activities for parents to try at home through the News Feed, and use the observations parents send through Famly to spark conversations about what the children are up to outside of nursery.
