With Famly since

It’s not every day that you get to call yourself an award winner, but last Saturday, our dream came true.  At the 2022 Nursery Management Today awards, Famly won Best Technology Product of the Year - cue the fireworks  (not really), champagne (for sure), and happy tears (maybe).

This award means a lot, and not just because we got to dress up in fancy clothes and smile for the cameras, but because it is given to the product that helps enhance efficiency for nurseries in exceptional ways. The judges had some kind words to say, praising our ‘customer focus’ and saying, “It was evident that they have a deep understanding about the role a fantastic early childhood platform can play in supporting settings, staff and parents."

"Famly is an extremely agile company and the judges were impressed by their commitment to being customer-focused at every step of the way. It was evident that they have a deep understanding of the role a fantastic early childhood platform can play in supporting settings, staff and parents. The product itself is seamless and easy to navigate with a wide range of capabilities."

The big ideas

We are so grateful to the judges for their recognition, but more importantly, we are so grateful to our customers for believing in the platform. Because this win isn’t just about us, it is also about the incredible people we get to support every day through our platform.

In great company

That’s why it was even more exciting that more than half of the awards given by NMT on the night were given to nurseries using Famly, including the manager, room leader, and both groups of the year.  To see so many familiar faces and places among the winners puts us in awe - once again -  of the great people we get to support.

Do you see anyone you recognise?

  • Manager of the Year - Amanda Bates - Lime Trees Business Development - Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries
  • Room Leader of the Year - Nancy Walker - Academy Gardens Nursery - Hungry Caterpillar Day Nurseries
  • Gemma Fletcher - Operations/Area Manager of the Year - Kidzrus Nursery
  • Chef of the year - Kristian Rooney - Naturally Learning
  • SenCo of the year - Karen Horn - Naturally Learning
  • Forest/Beach school/kindergarten - Dandelion Education
  • Apprenticeship scheme of the year - Hungry Caterpillar Day Nurseries
  • Team of the year - Dandelion Education
  • Group under 10 settings of the year - Children's Corner
  • Group over 10 settings of the year - Kindred
  • Kids’ cooking & nutrition education - Beeches Park Children's Day Nursery

So now that we can add “award-winning platform” to our website, what’s next?

2023 promises to be a year where we continue our drive to support even more nurseries, build ever-exciting features and improvements, and continue with new opportunities to connect, and spaces to collaborate.  We cannot wait to roll it all out. If you want to see what an award-winning platform looks like, give us a call! We’d love to show you around.

But first, we’ll take a minute to enjoy this very special moment made possible by so many people.

Please note: here at Famly we love sharing creative activities for you to try with the children at your setting, but you know them best. Take the time to consider adaptions you might need to make so these activities are accessible and developmentally appropriate for the children you work with. Just as you ordinarily would, conduct risk assessments for your children and your setting before undertaking new activities, and ensure you and your staff are following your own health and safety guidelines.
