Famly in a sentence

Famly is the early childhood platform - a place for nurturing adults to connect and get things done.

What is Famly?

Famly is for people who look after the most important part of a child’s education: the first bit.

Families get updates from their young child’s day and support with their early learning, while providers can run their business with confidence and build better relationships with parents along the way.

A social news feed brings the two together, while invoicing and fee-handling, reporting and registration help save countless hours for what really matters. All in, Famly supports 6300+ early education providers in 10 countries (primarily: UK, Nordics, Germany, US) to build relationships with more than 400,000 parents - and have been backed by over $20m to date.

Who built Famly?

Famly was founded by Anders Laustsen and Henrik Møller Rasmussen, who met at school in a little place in Western Denmark called Vejle. The idea for Famly came when Henrik’s daughter started at nursery and the paper ‘parent’ books they exchanged once a month just weren’t cutting it.

They’ve now found hundreds of other people to join them on their mission to make early childhood valued, in their Copenhagen HQ and offices in Berlin, Washington DC, and Leicester. Helping them along the way are lead investors Susquehanna Growth Equity (eToro, Credit Karma, Outbrain) as well as early investors like Just-Eat’s ex-CEO Klaus Nyengaard and Zendesk founders Morten Primdahl and Alexander Aghassipour.
